I’ve been having a minor obsession lately with frieght logos printed on the side of trucks ever since I started commuting by car. The designs are overall usually pretty retro and a surprising number of them have a very slick 60s modern Swiss style to them. When I saw this Hapag-Lloyd truck today I couldn’t resist getting a picture. I love the tightly kerned Helvetica set against a huge solid wash of bright orange.
I spent the whole ride home trying to get close enough to get a decent shot of the side of the trailer. Here’s the best one I could get:

dude, I never know that you have this truck-letter-fetish, but it’s all cool. Anyhow, you’d better keep focusing on driving, traffic on 290 sometimes can get rough.
